We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Just to play devil's advocate though: a lot of times when military binoculars have covers like that, they either remain off the binoculars while in use in the field or actually have slits wide enough to not block vison but narrow enough to block glare. Either way, if he was just handed them on the spot he prolly would've assumed either of those. Which is also stupid
